As a 30-year journalist and a lifelong eavesdropper, I’ve learned a lot about life from the stories of others. It’s what keeps me seeking and traveling and photographing and listening.

Tell me a story. What magical words.

When I’m not traveling abroad, I bounce along the backroads of Oklahoma searching for some golden story nuggets as a contributor for  Oklahoma Today and This Land Press. I’ve published work in many other newspapers and magazines and worked with videographers and audio producers on special projects.

Why am I finally unleashing this blog on family, friends and unsuspecting strangers?

I see stories every day. I needed somewhere to put them. -Sheilah Bright
